The X23 Science in Society, in cooperation with the NooJ association are glad to invite you to the
18th NooJ International Conference. The conference will be held on
June 5- June 7, 2024 in Bergamo (Italy).
Conference Goals
- Give NooJ users the opportunity to meet and share their experience as developers, researchers and teachers
- Present the latest linguistic resources, Digital Humanities experiments and NLP applications developed with NooJ
- Enable the contribution of students in using Nooj through tangible projects applications
- Provide the occasion to present and discover the recent developments of NooJ itself
- Open the access to Nooj to unconventional use by human science applications and local communities' contribution
- Bridging NLP knowledge and civil society’s challenges to reach innovative solutions
Topic of Interests
Submissions
We invite the submission of abstracts in English until February 26th, 2024. The abstracts should contain the title, name, institution and email of the author(s). Abstracts should not exceed one page (length between 300 and 600, references not included) words, and should be sent via Easy Chair.
The scientific committee will review all proposals and authors will be given notice of acceptance of their papers no later than April 5th, 2024. All papers must be original and cannot simultaneously be presented to another journal or conference.

Camera ready: May 16 2024
Early bird registrations: From March 11 to April 19 2024
Selected papers submission: Sept 15 2024
Post-Proceeding
A selection of the papers presented at the 18th NooJ International Conference 2024 will be published by Springer Verlag in their CCIS
Series (Communication in Computer and Information Sciences). CCIS is abstracted/indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago, Scopus. CCIS volumes are also submitted for the inclusion in ISI Proceedings. Instructions for the camera-ready papers are provided by Springer [zip file]. Deadline for submission of full camera-ready papers is September 15th, 2024.
Camera-Ready
All camera-ready abstracts will be included in the “NooJ 2024 Book of Abstracts”.
All camera-ready should be done before March 24, 2024.
