Marco Angster

Marco Angster his bachelor degree in 2006 at the University of Turin. In 2009, he received his master's degree with a thesis on suffixed adjectival compounds in the German language. He received his doctorate in linguistics at the University of Pavia in 2013, defending a dissertation on the use of reflexive markers and intensifiers in word formation. After his doctorate, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Turin and at the Free University of Bolzano on projects aiming at the construction of corpora both diachronic (MIDIA) and synchronic (Bolzano/Bozen Corpus) of both written and spoken language. He is currently associate professor at the Department of Linguistics of the University of Zadar. His research interests include word-formation with a cross-linguistic perspective, language documentation, German minority languages and more recently bilingual first language acquisition.
